Gabriella and Jazmine’s engagement session on a riverfront in Tennessee was such an incredible experience to be a part of. Gabriella and Jazmine are from Georgia and joined in on a content trip I took to Tennessee back in May. These two were so much fun to work with as they were down to try anything which meant we really got to let loose for their session.
The default for choosing an outfit for an engagement session for years was dressing up, but more and more couples are choosing outfits that they might wear in their day to day lives. I love a simple outfit for engagement sessions because of the way it highlights you and your partner. Your relationship and how you interact with one another becomes the focal point of the images and it just has a modern feel. Gabriella and Jazmine kept their outfits simple for their sessions, opting for jeans and some casual shirts. Not only did this make them the focal point of their session, but it allowed us to get more creative for their riverfront engagement session in Tennessee.
Sessions in the water are such a fun place to have engagement photos taken. My favorite part was that these two were open to trying anything! Frolicking in the water, floating next to one another, whatever idea came to mind Gabriella and Jazmine were down to try. This made their riverfront engagement session such a creative treat and my favorite part of visiting Tennessee. Water sessions are super fun & add a ton of creativity to the gallery. When working with my clients, developing trust and creating a great experience is at the forefront of my mind. Entering your session with an open mind, prepped and ready to commit to what you’re doing in the session is super important to the experience and getting the most out of your photo session.
